EAU CLAIRE RIVER

Play boating throught the summer especially after a good rain.

PUT-IN: Big Falls County Park on the south bank of the Eau Claire River 10 mi. east of town. A hundred yards south of where County Hwy. K crosses the river turn west down a dirt road into the park. A large wooden sign marks the entrance. Stay on the "main" dirt road for 1 mile until you reach a paved parking lot with a short hiking trail to the river.

TAKEOUT: Bus. Hwy. 12 Bridge.

FUN FACT: Play spot and a nice-sized drop.

This drop is a local play spot. There is a significant rapid around both sides of a small island.
