Homathko River

Season: August to late September

Access: The river flows through the Homathko River - Tatlayoko Proected Area. The closest town is Williams Lake (Yahoo map). From there head west to Tatlayoko Lake. After a 60 mile (100 km) trip down the Homathko to Bute Inlet lasting 3-4 days you'll need to arrange a float plane shuttle to take you back up river (additional information)

Description: Known as one of the classic BC class V expeditions, the river starts in interior BC before cutting through the impressive coastal range and ending on an ocean inlet across from Vancouver Island.
