You may also be able to get information on current conditions from Elaho River Adventures as they are located on the Squamish River a few miles downstream of the Elaho confluence. DESCRIPTION:
While the lower 3 km of the Elaho are often run as a lead-in to the class III Squamish run, just upstream paddlers can find some class IV/V paddling opportunities. This run is described at Keith Robinson's waboater site, which is no longer online, but is cached here <www.waboater.com/elaho.htm>.
LOGISTICS: Nearest town: Squamish (Yahoo map). Head north out of town on the Squamish River Road and 39 miles up the road you'll reach the confluence of the Elaho with the Squamish.
