Rumor has it that Stuart Smith has a guidebook in the works. You can check his progress at Headwaters Press. He has some other good information on his website. The guidebooks by Betty Pratt-Johnson are a bit dated but you can still find some good information in them and they are still the most comprehensive books for the classic runs. You can find them in some paddling shops or used bookstores. Steve Crowe and Jim Hnatiak have a guidebook titled Whitewater in BC's Southwest. It covers the major runs but could use some revision.
